CellAuto Series · High-Throughput Cell Processing System
CPS040Closed cell preparation, one millilitre to twenty-one litres.
The core system of the CellAuto line. Cells are concentrated and washed in a continuous stream inside a closed, single-use fluid path, and move on to the next stage without an open step at any point.

Key features
Broad cell compatibility
Fresh, cryopreserved and ex vivo expanded cells with diameters greater than 4 µm, including NK cells, mesenchymal stem cells and CAR-T cells.
High recovery and viability
A cell recovery rate of ≥95%, with post-processing viability held within ±3% of the initial viability.
High processing capacity
Continuous processing of feed volumes from 1 mL to 21 L, covering research scale through to large-scale manufacturing.
Reliable fluid handling
Three independently controlled peristaltic pumps with adjustable flow rates from 7 to 200 mL/min for stable, precise process control.
Programmable operation
Process parameters and workflows are set by the user, so the system adapts to the manufacturing requirement rather than the other way round.
Fully closed system
A compact footprint and disposable closed single-use kits keep contamination risk low, and the system runs in a Grade D cleanroom.
How it works
Concentration and washingwithout stopping the flow.
Conventional processing concentrates cells in batches, and every batch is a pause, a transfer and an opportunity for damage. The CPS040 runs the same work as a continuous stream inside a closed, single-use fluid path.
Dock and load
The disposable closed kit is fitted and the source container is docked. Nothing is poured, pipetted or opened, so the background requirement stays at Grade D rather than a biosafety cabinet.
Couette micro-vortex
Cells pass through a controlled micro-vortex field that separates them from the surrounding fluid gently enough to preserve viability and function. Three peristaltic pumps, adjustable from 7 to 200 mL/min, hold the flow steady.
Continuous output
Concentrated, washed cells leave for the next stage while the feed is still arriving. Because the work never stops to batch, a volume anywhere from 1 mL to 21 L is handled in one uninterrupted run.
The result is measurable rather than descriptive: at least 95% of the cells are recovered, and viability after processing stays within ±3% of where it started. The same recipe produces the same figures on a different day, with a different operator.
Specification
Dimensions, weight and rated power are taken from the CellAuto production line configuration sheet. Performance figures may vary with process, cell type and configuration, and suitability for a specific product, facility or jurisdiction is confirmed during project validation.
In a production line
What ten thousand vials a yearactually looks like.
A real CellAuto line configuration. Two CPS040 units sit inside it, alongside the culture, dispensing, posture adjustment and filling systems, with a culture time of seven to nine days per batch.
Worked from 6.60 × 107 cells per vial, a new batch started every two days and thirty-six culture matrices. At five hundred million cells per ten-layer factory the line reaches roughly 10,400 vials a year, and at seven hundred million it reaches 14,600. Your own configuration is sized against your cell type, batch size and facility.
Where it sits in the line
The AS015 Automatic Posture Adjustment System and the WAVE010 Bioreactor sit alongside the culture stage, and the Cell Full Lifecycle Management Platform records every phase.
