<\/p>\nOn 25 December 2025, the “High-Quality Development Conference for Maternal and Child Health” of the Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital was held in Fuzhou. As a key part of the conference, the Fujian Branch of the National Engineering Research Center for Key Generic Technologies of the Cell Industry (the “National Engineering Center”) was officially unveiled. It aims to deeply integrate national-level research resources with regional clinical strengths to build a full-chain collaborative innovation platform covering cell storage, preparation, quality inspection, R&D and clinical translation — including a cell-drug seed bank, a CDMO platform, and a rare-earth medicine and intelligent medical-manufacturing innovation centre — marking an important step for national-level cell technology in the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric and gynaecological diseases.<\/p>\n

Unveiling ceremony of the Fujian Branch of the National Engineering Center for the Cell Industry<\/em><\/p>\n Signing ceremony of the Rare-Earth Medicine and Intelligent Medical Manufacturing Innovation Centre<\/em><\/p>\n Dr Liu Muyun, Director of the National Engineering Center, was invited to attend the conference and gave a keynote titled “Cell Therapy: the Next Pillar of Modern Medicine”, analysing the strategic significance of the State Council’s “Decree No. 818” and systematically explaining the Center’s three-in-one model and compliance pathway — built around “advanced manufacturing + quality inspection” and covering cell-technology production, quality inspection and clinical research-translation services. She stressed that this systemic capability will strengthen medical institutions’ clinical research and translation in line with Decree No. 818, providing sustained innovation momentum toward the “Healthy China 2030” goals.<\/p>\n Dr Liu Muyun delivering the keynote<\/em><\/p>\n Earlier, in December 2025, the National Engineering Center deployed clinical-grade “stem-cell manufacturing workshops” and “immune-cell manufacturing workshops” at Fujian Maternity and Child Health, jointly building an “intelligent automated cell-drug CDMO translation platform”. The platform strictly follows the “Regulations on the Clinical Research and Clinical Translational Application of New Biomedical Technologies” (Decree No. 818), meets the site and facility requirements for clinical-research institutions set out in the relevant cell-therapy guidelines, and — drawing on the Center’s systemic capability in cell-manufacturing lines and technical support — builds a compliant, efficient and traceable pathway covering “research filing – local implementation – clinical translation”, moving cell therapy from an “individualised art” toward a “scalable science” while safeguarding compliance and safety.<\/p>\n Intelligent automated cell-drug CDMO translation platform<\/em><\/p>\n The unveiling of the Fujian Branch and the establishment of the platform coincided with the 90th anniversary of the Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital. Witnessed by leaders from the Fujian Provincial Health Commission and other provincial departments, academicians, experts and industry peers, the Center will work with the hospital to deepen cooperation in cell therapy, explore new models of medical–research–enterprise collaboration, and help Fujian build a hub for cell-therapy innovation and industrial development — ultimately bringing frontier medical advances more widely and fairly to women, children and the public.<\/p>\n CellAuto is one of China’s earliest national high-tech enterprises to develop and mass-produce digital, intelligent cell-therapy manufacturing lines, with key technological breakthroughs in the digital, intelligent production of complex biological preparations.
